SHIARA: Drum Solo

Shiara is an award-winning performer, and a knowledgeable, experienced and passionate instructor. She has over 15 years of experience in this dance and is celebrating 10 years of excellence as an instructor of our beautiful art form! Shiara will be teaching a fun, sassy, drum solo that's sure to be a real crowd pleaser!

Della: Taxeem Choreogrphy

Della is the director of the Lotus Dance Troupe of Omaha. Della has studied both overseas and thoughout the United States.

Magdalene: Diva Dance

Magdalene is the director of Diva Soma and founder of the new Gnosis Studio in Omaha. She will be presenting 'Diva Dance', the eclectic fusion of Egyptian, Turkish and Lebanese styles that makes her troupe so unique.

Shelley Brackhan Fritz : Latin Dance Basics

Ms. Brackhan- Fritz, owner of The Dance Directive, has taught dance and competed professionally since 1984, and opened The Dance Directive in 1994. She has received numerous teaching and performing awards, including Top Teacher in both the Midwest and Northwest Regions, 1st Place in the Fred Astaire Midwest Regional Championships and a dance scholarship from the University of Nebraska. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance with an emphasis in Education from the University of Nebraska. With her wide range of dance knowledge (Ballroom, Country, Swing, Latin, Modern, Ballet, Jazz and Tap) she has performed and competed nationally, including on the main stage of the Lied Center for Performing Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska. Since opening, she has also taught the joy and love of dance to children and teens in both her studio and at public schools. She is most happy, however, about having a studio where she can encourage dance to flourish in the Lincoln community.
